Very affecting drama about Malle's childhood in a boarding
school in Southern France, and the Jewish boy who is
hidden from the Nazis there. Well-acted and filmed, in
soft, rich hues. Intimate and sometimes provocative, and
ultimately tragic. Suitable for adolescents.
