Moving, faithful adaptation of Harper Lee's novel about race
relations in the old South. Peck plays a lawyer who
breaks unwritten rules by defending black man accused of
raping a poor white woman. Though occasionally stiff,
gracefully filmed, lyrical, and affecting. That is indeed
Robert Duvall making debut as Boo Radley.
